With Leadership Skills Foundation, Edstart offer professional development qualifications in partnership with the AfPE (Association for Physical Education) to provide delegates the opportunity to gain professional learning and CPD. Helping them deliver a high-quality Physical Education curriculum, alongside promoting the benefits to wider school agendas.
Level 2
Supporting Learning in Physical Education, School Sport & Physical Activity
Delegates will build their skills and confidence to support curriculum delivery.
The programme provides the ability to plan, lead and review activities that contribute to PE provision.
Nationally recognised qualification from the Professional Institute of Accredited PE.
Level 3
Supporting the Delivery of Physical Education, School Sport & Physical Activity
Upskill colleagues involved in curriculum delivery.
Delegates develop the skills and confidence to support delivery of PESSPA through planning, delivering, and reviewing high quality programmes.
Nationally recognised qualification from the Professional Institute of Accredited PE.
Level 5
Primary School PE Specialism
Upskill primary school teachers and higher-level teaching assistants to improve overall PE curriculum delivery within primary schools.
Level 6
Primary School PE Subject Leadership - QTS Required
Enabling subject leaders to support and upskill other colleagues in teaching the PE curriculum.
Delegates will be able to advocate, articulate and lead physical education to achieve whole school improvement.
