Meet Jordan

Jordan has recently become the Area Manager of Edstart Calderdale having spent four years previously working in the Salford area. Jordan completed an apprenticeship before quickly being promoted to a Lead Coach in Salford and during this role he was enrolled on to a Sports Coaching & Science degree to further his professional development. After completing this degree, the opportunity arose to become Area Manager of Edstart Calderdale where he hopes to spread his knowledge and passion for sport in an area closer to home.

Jordan worked with us to deliver both indoor and outdoor PE sessions, incorporating many team building and sport management skills into the learning. Jordan has been fantastic from the start, working to suit our wide range of needs.

Jordan has built up a good rapport with the children, is motivated and well organised with the activities he plans for them. We have a large number of children with SEN needs and Jordan’s sessions are always inclusive giving every child a voice and the opportunity to partake to the best of their ability.

I would like to say how impressed I have been with Oliver; his practise is excellent. He is warm but firm with the children and clearly committed to his job. He is so positive and it’s been lovely to have him with us.
